How it works
Three steps. No spreadsheet, no app.
Pick the template that fits
Twenty pre-loaded event types — wedding, birthday, quinceañera, corporate, baby shower, more. Each starts with a thought-through schedule by an event planner.
Drag the times to your day
Edit activities, durations, and notes inline. Autosaves to your account every keystroke; comes back exactly as you left it on any device.
Hand it to your vendors
One-click PDF, or email the day-of schedule directly to your caterer / DJ / venue from the dashboard. Everyone shows up on the same page.
20 starter templates
Start with the schedule a planner would build.
Wedding (29 activities, 7am-midnight), birthday, quinceañera, corporate, holiday, reunion, baby shower, bridal shower, sweet 16, engagement, fundraiser, anniversary, bar/bat mitzvah, graduation, retirement, elopement, cocktail, dinner, themed, celebration of life. Every activity has a time, a duration, and notes you can edit in seconds.

Inline editing
Edit times, durations, and notes inline.
Every activity is editable in place. Move start times, adjust durations, add a note for the photographer or a reminder for the bride's grandmother. Autosave fires 1.5 seconds after your last keystroke and writes to your account — your work follows you across devices.

Vendor share
PDF download and one-click vendor email.
Export the timeline as a polished PDF that matches your caterer / DJ / venue handouts, or email the day-of schedule directly to a vendor from the dashboard. The email renders as a clean HTML schedule (no attachment to get blocked), and we rate-limit so a runaway script can't blast your sending domain.

Linked to your event
Every event on DigitalRSVPs gets its own timeline.
Sign in to save your timeline to your DigitalRSVPs event so it lives next to your invitations, guest list, photo gallery, and voice memories. One QR poster pointing at the invite page; everything the host or vendor needs is one tap away.

Planning library
20 long-form planning guides — free to read.
Every template ships with a planning guide written by an event planner: what to schedule, what to over-buffer, what mistakes to avoid. Read the one matching your event, then jump straight into the builder.

No invitation tool ships this.
You can plan invitations OR you can plan the day-of. Until now you needed two tools.

What hosts ask first.
No. You can open /tools/timeline, pick a template, edit it, and download the PDF without signing in. We save your draft to your browser. When you sign up, every draft you have migrates to your account silently — nothing lost.
Every event on your DigitalRSVPs dashboard gets a Day-of Timeline panel. Pick a template the first time and it lives under that event forever — alongside your guest list, invitations, photo gallery, and voice memories. One QR poster on a guest table points at the whole bundle.
Yes. The dashboard panel has a "Send to vendor" button — pick the vendor email and role (caterer, DJ, venue, photographer, planner, other) and we email a polished HTML schedule from your event. We throttle to one email per recipient per five minutes and 20 per hour per user so the feature can't be abused.
Most wedding planners ship long-term checklists ("12 months before: hire a photographer"). The day-of timeline is the opposite: it's the minute-by-minute schedule for the event itself, shareable with vendors, exportable as a PDF, and saved against the same event you're collecting RSVPs for.
Yes. The dashboard has a "Choose a different template" link that replaces the activities (keeping your timeline's name + date + event linkage). Useful when you started with one template and realized another fits better.
Same templates, same shape. The DigitalRSVPs version adds save-to-your-account, linking to a specific event, and vendor email — features that need a user account. eventplanningtimeline.com still works as a no-signup utility if you don't want any of that.
No. The vendor email renders as an HTML schedule in every email client. PDFs open in any browser or Preview app. No app, no portal, no login.
Twenty: wedding, birthday, quinceañera, corporate, holiday, reunion, sweet 16, engagement, fundraiser, anniversary, bar/bat mitzvah, graduation, retirement, elopement, cocktail reception, dinner party, baby shower, bridal shower, themed event, and celebration of life.
